As a Partner at Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP, Scott’s practice is primarily focused venture capital firms and the funds that they manage. He also has notable experience organizing and launching onshore and offshore hedge funds, “hybrid” venture-crypto funds, and private equity funds. In addition to representing investment managers, Scott has also advised some of the largest retirement systems and foundations in the country on their investments in private funds, including investment structuring considerations and side letter negotiations.
Prior to joining Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP, Scott worked in the investment management practice group of a large international law firm.
