As an associate attorney at Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP, JJ Young advises fund managers and investment advisers on a range of transactional, regulatory, and operational matters related to the structuring and formation of private investment funds and compliance with state and federal securities laws.
Prior to joining the firm, JJ worked at NightDragon, a growth-stage venture capital firm in San Francisco. He received his LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he was a Clinical Law Student in the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic, and earned his Bachelor of Business and Law (BBL) from the University of College Dublin.
