As an Intellectual Property Paralegal at Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP, Carolisa Chen assists attorneys in all aspects of patent and trademark prosecution and copyright matters, including but not limited to: preparation and filings from new applications to post-filings with the United State Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) or World Intellectual Property Organization (“WIPO”); searching and reviewing USPTO database; docketing; managing and maintaining clients’ portfolios; correspondence with the USPTO, foreign counsel, and clients; drafting assignment documents for recordation and meeting country-specific requirements, such as notarization and legalization of documents; drafting legal correspondence; and other client- related projects.
