Rose Caruso

Karl A. Cole-Frieman (Associate) Rose counsels investment managers, private funds, and investment industry members on transactional and federal and state securities law matters, including domestic and offshore fund structuring and formation. Prior to joining Cole-Frieman & Mallon, LLP, Rose worked at Wells Fargo as a Compliance Consultant, assisting with its responses to allegations of corporate fraud and unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts and practices. Rose also worked for the Federal Housing Finance Agency in Washington D.C., where she established internal policies and procedures and drafted federal regulations under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

Rose obtained her B.A. in political science from Marquette University and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she earned the Business Law Certificate, co-founded the Real Estate Law Society, and was a member of the Real Estate and Law Symposium Planning Committee. Rose is admitted to practice law in California.

Rose lives in San Francisco and in her free time, enjoys training for marathons, hiking, and making fresh pasta. Rose also serves on the Risk Management Association Young Professional Committee for the Golden Gate Chapter and is a member of the Northern California Best Buddies Young Professionals Board.
