Lilly A. Palmer (Partner) As a Partner at Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP, Lilly advises clients on all aspects of organization, formation and operation of U.S. and offshore private investment funds. The firm provides comprehensive legal support to investment managers and private investment funds, including clients pursuing non-traditional strategies such as investments in cryptocurrency and digital assets. Her areas of expertise include compliance with the exemptions under the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933. Lilly regularly counsels investment advisers with respect to registration, regulation and ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations, and provides advice on general business matters including employment and management company reorganization.

Prior to joining Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP, Lilly was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP in New York. Lilly received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College at Columbia University, and her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law. Lilly is admitted to practice in California and New York.

Lilly lives with her husband in Oakland, California.
